I have set my next goal in life.
I have been setting goals and couldn't invest my heart into them. Cause heart didn't believe in them fully. This sounds like a thing my heart wants to go for.
I see a future in becoming a freelancer analog IP designer. It sounds like a possible career to have. For the time being it will not be bringing money. So I also need to sustain my day job.
I wanted to be analog engineer. Open source hardware gives the opportunity to be just that without having to be employed by a company for that. You can be a freelancer. I must dig deep into it. Guage my competition and capabilities. But first I must build my capabilities. I want to be ready.
So my goal is to have my own IP out there by 300 days. In next 300 Days I'll look to monetize IP Making.
Meanwhile in these 600 days, I must seek to sustain my job. I need to have a promotion soon to survive. So, I need to do prove myself on that front as well. Not just linger on. That plan has to work along with my manager. Now I can do it, because I have to do it to survive and keep my dream going. Just like how I have to eat to do other fun stuff.
What am I gonna get done in next 300 days?
1. MIT courses done
2. efab P.allen courses done
3. Jake Baker books done
4. Elad alon courses done
5. pick a sample IP datasheet from the efab and try to replicate it or make the spec somewhat better and try to meet that.
6. Stretch goal : Have an entire IP portfolio for myself of all possible designs. Add my reconfigurable analog twist to it.
Process adaptive reconfigurable analog design. If process corner varies, then how it can auto compensate for it.
